The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from consultants experienced in transportation safety and planning to lead an integrated planning effort that encompasses the following services:

The Regional Safety Action Plan will create consensus around an overarching vision for our region’s diverse community that can be embraced by all. The goal is to develop a comprehensive Safety Action Plan based on a Safe System Approach that utilizes a holistic strategy to significantly reduce or eliminate transportation-related fatalities and serious injuries for all road users. The consultant should illustrate various implementable tactics and on-the-ground expertise to achieve this objective.
