The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following:

The Boise VAMC requires Patient Slings for use on Veteran patients. All items are to be delivered to Boise VA Medical Center. Only fully qualified and OEM authorized vendors who have been authorized to provide original equipment manufacturer OEM items and have the capability to provide the above stated equipment are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to scott.james@va.gov no later than 02/01/23 at 11:59am PST. Additional Salient Characteristics:
All the slings must be Loop Attachment to be compatible with our current ceiling lift equipment brands
Wipeable option so that a laundering process is not needed saving process labor costs at outside main hospital clinics
Slings must be Latex Free
Fabric color should coincide with sling size using the universal guidelines-Medium-yellow, Large-green & Purple-extra large
Custom Logo/labeling from manufacture included at no cost
Slings should have a minimum of the following weight capacities:
Limb-150 kg
Hi-Back/Seated-300 kg
RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address, OEM authorization provide the items must be included in the response. OEM documentation confirming access to all required OEM items and parts must be included in the response.
Please note whether items are presently offered on a current Government contract. NAICS Code 339113 is applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to scott.james@va.gov via e-mail.
