Description: Notice of Intent to Single-Source: The 366 FAS Contracting Squadron intends to award a non-competitive, single source to proposed contractor, Clima-Tech , Inc. with the Authority cited in FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR Part 13. Based on current market research, Automated Logic has proprietary right to the software and exclusive rights to the installation, upgrade, and maintenance for the Automated Logic HVAC Controls. The authorized dealer for the region is Clima-Tech, located in Boise, Idaho.

This notice of intent to award a single source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. If no affirmative written response is received via email by 21 July 2023, at 3:00 PM MST, the contract will proceed and be issued without further notice.

The acquisition is a total small business set aside under NAICS 238220 with small business size standard of $19M.

CLIN 0001 -Automated Logic HVAC Controls for one (1) year with five (5) option years. A one-year base period will be used for evaluation purposes.

Ordering Period: 20 July 2023 – 20 July 2028.

Basis for Award

(a) The Government will evaluate quotes by performing a comparative evaluation, through market research and previous acquisitions to determine price fair and reasonable for each quote. The government will award contract to the quote that represents the best value to the government need.
