THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR FALL VIEWING, OF THE PROJECT SITE, PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/QUOTE OR BID.



The Forest Service anticipates issuing a full solicitation at a time when the project site will likely be covered in snow or access is unavailable due to winter closures. Interested vendors are encouraged to visit the site prior to closure for a full understanding and, if desired, take photo’s or videos.



The Payette National Forest may issue Solicitation No. 1240LS23R0001.



Replacement of cedar siding on identified buildings with new cedar and corrugated metal panel siding as indicated at the McCall Smokejumper Base on the McCall Ranger District of the Payette National Forest.



This is not a solicitation and in no way commits the Government to award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract(s) based solely on this site visit nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred in response to this announcement. The intent of this notice is to ensure that prospective vendors may see the areas prior to snowfall and issuing the solicitation. This solicitation should be issued in winter of 2022



The work anticipated under any contract resulting from the solicitation will be started as soon as conditions on-the-ground are favorable. Approximately Spring 2023.
