Description

1.0 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items, and services necessary to perform portable toilet and hand wash station rental and servicing as defined in this SOW at MHAFB, ID and surrounding range complexes (Saylor Creek Range/Juniper Butte Bomb Range/Orchard Combat Training Center).



2.0 REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall deliver and adhere to the following upon completion of any Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) call:



2.1 RENTAL. The vendor shall provide portable toilets and hand wash stations for MHAFB at designated locations for specific durations. Units shall only be requested and furnished to the appointed authorized caller or the Contracting Officer (CO). Units may require a rental period based on day, multiple days, week, month, quarter, or year as requirements dictate.



2.1.1 UNIT TYPE. The Contractor shall provide unisex type portable toilets and single stall trailer units depending on the requirement. Other units requested may include gender specific, or handicap units placed in a location accessible for handicap persons. All units regardless of unit type shall be equipped with hand sanitizers. Additionally, handwashing stations may be requested.



2.1.2 SERVICING. Servicing may be requested on a daily, weekly, bi -weekly and monthly schedule or unless otherwise directed by an authorized caller. More frequent service, if needed shall be negotiated separately prior to rental. The cleaning schedule for permanent, seasonal, and temporary units shall be provided by the authorized caller placing the order. The Government shall be notified of schedule changes pertaining to servicing one week in advance of the scheduled change. Once serviced, the servicing attendant shall initial a log affixed to the unit indicating date of service and initials of servicing attendant.



2.1.3 DELIVERY. When an authorized caller makes a request for delivery of toilets or wash stations, date, time, delivery, and placement of units shall be determined at the time of the order. All units shall be secured (staked or weighted down) where possible to prevent blow over and wind damage.



2.1.4 MAPS. Base map will be made available upon request and any time deliveries are made outside of the base perimeter.



2.1.5 REMOVAL/PICKUP. Unit(s) shall be removed not later than one week from the date of the removal request. Each unit account shall be closed and tallied no later than close of business on the day of the call for removal.



2.2 EMERGENCY SERVICE. One or more units may be requested to be left at MHAFB as standby units to be available for emergency use. Standby units will be serviced only at the request of the authorized caller or CO. The Government reserves the right to move any portable toilet for emergency or security purposes to another location.



The authorized representative will notify the contractor when a unit has been moved prior to the next servicing action. The Contractor shall not be held liable for un-serviced units if the units were moved without notification.
