This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for the purpose of requesting input from industry to understand new developments and customary business practices in the internet service provider industry that may enhance the telecommunication infrastructure on Mountain Home AFB. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. For the purpose of this RFI, the NAICS code is anticipated to be 517112 Wireless Telecommunications Carriers (except Satellite) and the anticipated PSC is DD01. Responses to this notice are not OFFERs and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Therefore, responders will not be reimbursed for any costs related to responding to this notice.

The purpose of this RFI is to determine the course of action and availability of contractors that can:

1. Provide telecommunications infrastructure capable of 1000Mb/s internet download and upload speeds capable of 99% annual uptime to 844 single family homes on Mountain Home AFB, and


2. Provide telecommunications infrastructure capable of 1000Mb/s internet download and upload speeds capable of 99% annual uptime to 670 dorm rooms across 6 dormitories on Mountain Home AFB.

Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government and meet the mission of the Air Force. The determination not to compete this contract action is within the desecration of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining if this is a possible contract action.
