This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to provide a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following:

1. Title: Custom Square D 15kva Breaker for Main Switchgear for Bldg 82 Boise VAMC, ID


2. Tasks: Provide 1 custom Schneider/Square D breaker. The custom breaker must be compatible with existing system. Product description: 15kv max voltage, 500MVA/ 25kA, 1200A, vacuum breaker type: VR-15050-12, 125VDC Breaker Close Control Power, 120VDC Breaker Trip Control Power, MOC Provisions Only and Charged Springer Indicator.


3. Existing Factory Order No: 17-28056370-001, Catalog No: V5DB133Y000


4. Location: 500 West Fort Street, Boise ID 83702


5. Contractor shall be directly authorized to sell Schneider/Square D.

RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, UEID # and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; Capability Statement that addresses concern #2 and #5 above.

NAICS Code 335313 is applicable to determine business size standard.
