Description

This requirement is for the brushing of roads on the Payette NF in 2023 and 2024. This brushing

will occur on all road segments listed in the schedule of items. Upon completion of the road

brushing the roads will have had all vegetative material under 6” dia. removed from within 5’ of

the outside edge of the shoulder or ditch if it exists on the cutslope. All material under 6” dia. From

within 3’ of the outside edge of the shoulder on the fill slope. Material will be removed up to a

height of 14’ above the road surface. Clearing on the inside edge of major curves will be extended

out to 8’. Cuts shall be as smooth and as close to the tree bole as practical. Care will be taken not

to scar trees that remain. All cut material will be removed from the drainage features and roadway.

This requirement will have a base plus (2) two options. Option two (2) will be cost per mile.
