This is a solicitation for labor to preform services for the Coeur d'Alene Nursery. See attachement for full solicittaiotn. Below are the types of services that will be required under this solicitation;
This solicitation is for (1.1) cleaning (dipping) of containers, (1.2-1.3-1.4) moving containers from growing areas (greenhouses and shelter houses) to the packing area, the extraction, grading and packing of seedlings and native plant species into boxes, sorting and palletizing, (1.5-1.6) moving containers, (1.7) dumping containers, (1.8) the layout of benchtops in emptied greenhouse and areas, (1.9) root pruning plugs prior to transplanting. (1.10) Removing multiple germinates from cells (sizes 20-160) to leave one live, healthy seedling (rogueing), (1.11) removing multiple germinates from cells (size 240) to leave one live, healthy seedling (rogueing). (1.12-1.13-1.14) Removing weeds from containers, (1.15-1.16-1.17) filling containers with growing media in preparation for sowing or transplanting, (1.18) transplant seedlings into larger containers to promote seedling growth. (1.19) consolidating tubes of seedlings into full trays of live seedlings and removal of trays with no seedlings. (1.20) Preparing blocks for sowing by removing any access media from containers and ensuring all cells are filled. (1.21) Pruning seedlings in containers in preparation for packing or for plant health. (1.22) Remove dead larch needles prior to packing.
